In the 70 years of history, Kartell has interacted with mechanics in the implementation of industrial processes aimed at transforming a design into a product that can be reproduced on a large scale using increasingly sophisticated molds.
At the opening day of Salone del Mobile 2019, Kartell had a little surprised hidden under their sleeve. The brand revealed its newest project conceived alongside the famous designer Philippe Starck and the company Artificial Intelligence.
‘AI” is the name of the product launched and consists of a dining chair designed in a nude hue by the acclaimed designer Philippe Starck. The presentation took place at Kartell’s booth and lasted around 30 minutes where Philippe Starck accompanied by Claudio Lutti (Kartell’s CEO) presented this special dining chair while also explaining the concept behind it.
