Recognised immediately thanks to his fresh and truly unique style, use of fantastic curves and mesmerizing plays of colour. One of the most prolific designers of his generation with over 3000 designs in production, over 300 awards and working in over 40 countries attest to Karim’s legend of design.
Kathryn M Ireland
Born in England, Kathryn M. Ireland was raised between her parents’ homes in London and Scotland. She arrived in Los Angeles in 1986. Prior to launching her interior design business in the early 90’s, Kathryn was an actress, clothing designer, and filmmaker. Today she is commonly mentioned among the top interior designers in the world. Her fabric line was launched in 1997 and is distributed in her showrooms in Los Angeles and London, as well as selected showrooms around the world. Today she is considered one of the most influential interior and textile designers in the world.
Kelly Hoppen
Kelly Elaine Hoppen is an English interior designer, author and owner of Kelly Hoppen Interiors. Kelly made astonishing career and is now one of the biggest names of interior design worldwide. The creations of a Jewish and Irish descent designer are not only focused on hospitality or residential projects, but cover also stunning yachts of private clients, as well as commercial projects all around the world, including restaurants, offices and an aircraft.
Kelly Wearstler
Kelly Wearstler is an American designer and one of the very best interior designers in the world, admired for her bold designs and fantastic interior projects. She served as a judge on Bravo’s Top Design and in 2012 Rizzoli published her fourth book, Rhapsody. The New Yorker once called her “the presiding grand dame of West Coast interior design”.
Kirill Istomin
Mr. Istomin’s fine arts degree in interior design and decoration is from Parsons School of Design in New York. He began his career with one of the leading New York society interior design firms, Parish – Hadley. The client list of this venerable company includes such luminaries as Jacqueline Kennedy, Brooke Astor, Oscar De la Renta, and the Rockefeller family. Parish – Hadley afforded Mr. Istomin an unparalleled experience collaborating with the patriarch of American design Albert Hadley, on projects in New York, South Hampton, and Palm Beach. This creative experience finely honed Kirill Istomin’s professional expertise. He was also actively collaborating with the internationally acclaimed architectural firm, Skidmore, Owning & Merrill LLP.
Lázaro Rosa-Violán
He is a fashionable interior designer. Signs some of the most interesting decoration projects in Spain. Everything that Lázaro Rosa-Violán touches, it ends up being tendency. His work has been featured in numerous magazines, his restaurants have been among the most talked about in the city and his hotels have the ability to transport guests from the moment they step through the door.
Lorenzo Castillo
Lorenzo Castillo is an interior designer from Spain. He balances very well the classic with the modern vibe. Castillo creates his own ambiances and you can really see his signatures in all his work. With his daring combinations of colors and patterns, over the top sense of drama this designer definitely likes to take risks and break some boundaries!
Marcel Wanders
Marcel Wanders is without a doubt an admired product designer and one of the best interior designers in the world. Regarded by many as an anomaly in the design world, he has made it his mission to “create an environment of love, live with passion and make our most exciting dreams come true.” His work excites, provokes, and polarises, but never fails to surprise for its ingenuity, daring and singular quest to uplift the human spirit, and entertain.
Marc Newson
Born in Sydney, Newson spent much of his childhood travelling in Europe and Asia. He started experimenting with furniture design as a student and, after graduation, was awarded a grant from the Australian Crafts Council with which he staged his first exhibition – featuring the Lockheed Lounge – a piece that has now, twenty years later, set three consecutive world records at auction.
Marc Heikaus
Born in Stuttgart, Marc Heikaus grew up as an entrepreneur’s child. He was interested in his father’s company from a young age. At nine he washed cars, in his teens he worked as a mechanic. He gained experience in the crafts and commercial areas early on. He took his Abitur focusing on business in 1989, followed by training at a renowned shop fitting company. After completing training in 1992, he took the obvious step of joining the family’s company. The father of three knows how to use his confident, competent and target-oriented manner to further the success of his company.
Marco Piva
Marco Piva graduated in architecture at Politecnico di Milano and founded STUDIODADA in 1977, that was one of the main design offices of the radical period. In 1990 he opens his own brand, Studio Marco Piva, with activities ranging from large architectural projects for tourist facilities, to interior design, masterplan and finally industrial design.
Mary Mcdonald
Mary McDonald is an award-winning, internationally published Los Angeles-based interior designer. She is one of the stars of Bravo TV’s “Million DollarDecorators” & “Property Envy” series and is consistently ranked as one of House Beautiful’s Top 100 Designers. She is the author of “Interiors: The Allure of Style” from Rizzoli publishing and has been honored as one of the top 25 designers by Veranda Magazine. Her licensed product lines include an acclaimed fabric collection for F. Schumacher & Company, lighting for Robert Abbey, rugs for Patterson, Flynn and Martin, and furniture for Chaddock Home.
Martin Brudnizki
Born in Stockholm, Martin Brudnizki moved to London in 1990 to study Interior Architecture and Design at The American University. After working for a number of renowned architects and designers, Martin established Martin Brudnizki Design Studio (MBDS) in London in the year 2000 before opening a New York Studio in 2012. Martin has been described as ‘one of the best restaurant and hotel designers of his generation’ by Wallpaper* and is regularly listed within both the London Evening Standard’s 1000 Most Influential People in the UK and House and Garden’s Top 100 Leading Interior Designers.
Marmol Radziner
Marmol Radziner founded 1989 is a Los Angeles-based design-build practice founded and led by architects Leo Marmol, FAIA and Ron Radziner, FAIA. The firm offers a full range of design services, including architectural design, programming, master planning, historic restoration, landscape design, interior design, and furniture design. Marmol Radziner specializes in residential, restoration, multifamily, commercial, retail, hospitality, educational, and community projects.
Matteo Nunziati
Matteo Nunziati was born in 1972 in Bologna and opened his first architecture firm in Milan in 2000. He specialized in Architecture and Interior Design especially in the field of Luxury Hospitality and Wellness facilities. is name was particularly acclaimed around the years 2005 and 2006 when he was chosen to design 2 hotels and 50 villas decor in Dubai. Furthermore, Nunziati is teaching and he’s involved with many design institutions, such as Domus Academy where he taught Hotel Design and a Master in Interior Design, he teaches also at the Department of Industrial Design at the Graduate Institute of Innovation and Design.
Michael S Smith
Michael Smith – also known as Obama’s White House decorator – is one of the most respected and original talents in the industry. Born in California, Michael studied interior design at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. In 1984, he continued his studies at The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, then returned to the U.S. to work under the tutelage of legendary antiques dealer Gep Durenberger. His design firm, Michael S Smith Inc, was launched in 1990, expanding from projects solely for private clients to his line of fine furniture and fabrics (“Jasper”).
Miles Redd
Miles Redd is very often mentioned among the top interior designers in the world. Honored numerous times as one of the Architectural Digest’s “AD 100” and included in Elle Decor “A-List”, he is well known by the lovers of luxury and glamour interiors.
Monique Gibson
As you probably know, Gibson is a famous New York-based interior designer. She’s considered one of the best designers in the country and she’s a regular feature on the best interior design tops and magazines. You might now Monique’s work since she designed a lot of celebrities houses, from Elton John to Jon Bon Jovi or Meg Ryan.
Nate Berkus
Nathan Jay “Nate” Berkus was born September 17, 1971 in Orange County, California and grew up mainly in suburban Minneapolis. He is Jewish, and openly gay. He attended Cushing Academy, a boarding school in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. He started working in design immediately after leaving high school and interned at Dominique Aurientis in Paris and Sotheby’s in Chicago. Berkus graduated from Lake Forest College near Chicago in 1994 with degrees in French and Sociology. Berkus founded the company, Nate Berkus Associates, in Chicago in 1995.
Neri & Hu
Neri & Hu Design and Research Office was founded in 2004 in Shanghai, China, by Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu. The practice provides architectural, interior, master planning, graphic and product design services. Their projects include the London Bow Street Hotel, Caylabene Bay Resort in the Philippines, the Waterhouse Boutique Hotel in South Bund in Shanghai, interiors for restaurants, retail spaces and private homes, as well as product designs of tableware, furniture and décor objects.
Nicolas Schuybroek
The Belgian architect Nicolas Schuybroek began his career in Montreal, Canada working for INTEGRAL Jean Beaudoin. For the last five years Nicolas has been working as project director for Vincent Van Duysen in Antwerp, handling various high-end architecture projects in Belgium and beyond. In August 2011, Nicolas Schuybroek started his own practice based in Brussels, Belgium. Nicolas Schuybroek has been named as one of the 100 best interior designers by French Magazine Architectural Digest in the 2013 Collector Issue.
Nicole Gottschall
Nicole Gottschall is one of the best interior designers from Switzerland, she is leading her own company for more than 20 years. Go Interiors was created in 1993 by Gottschall. Gottschal describe her own and her company’s style as un uncomplicated mix between what she likes and what the customer likes, resulting in the distinctive style of Go Interiors. The company studio is located in Zürich and they are mostly working in Switzerland. In her decoration she often uses heavy wood furniture, soft wool rugs and contemporary straight lines.
Olaf Kitzig
Olaf Kitzig is an Interior Design from Lippstadt, in Germany. In 26th August 1998 he has founded the company KITZIG INTERIOR DESIGN. With the slogan “Architecture is Trust” Kitzig company has been successfully realizing interior design and architecture projects for 17 years. The core competence of Olaf Kitzig and his co-workers’ lies in the area of the Hotel industry/Catering trade as well as in the production of tailor-made concepts for the Shop and Retail design. His strong team, consisting of interior decorators, architects, designers and graphic artists look after objects in-land and overseas.
