Trendbook brings to you the Framed Sunglasses from Etnia\u00a0Barcelona. And for the third season in a row, Etnia Barcelona<\/strong> <\/em>turns to famous works of art by some of history\u2019s most decorated artists as inspiration for its latest lookbook. The new Spring\/Summer 2018 collection showcased sees the brand add some must-have new frames to its growing range.<\/p>\n Etnia Barcelona works once again with photographer Biel Capllonch, who\u2019s previously helped the eyewear brand reimagine movies such as Pulp Fiction, A Clockwork Orange, and The Big Lebowski, and famous portraits such as Sandro Botticelli\u2019s Portrait of a Man with a Medal of Cosimo the Elder.<\/p>\n This time around, Capllonch has toyed with\u00a0Liberty Leading the People by Eug\u00e8ne Delacroix,\u00a0The Triumph of Bacchus by Diego Vela\u0301zquez,\u00a0Salvator Mundi\u00a0and Lady with an Ermine\u00a0by Leonardo da Vinci,\u00a0Young Woman with a Unicorn\u00a0by Raphael, and\u00a0Boy Bitten by a Lizard\u00a0by Caravaggio. Each image fuses the classic with the contemporary, replacing original elements with comical contemporary ones; a gin and tonic, for example, replacing the glass orb in one of da Vinci\u2019s works.<\/p>\n Etnia Barcelona introduces 37 new designs: 32 optical and five sunglass models. The small frame and colored lens pairing favored by fashion week attendees is a look that features heavily in the brand\u2019s latest collection.
