With a sustainability-focused edition<\/b> that starts today until 12 June in Rho Fiera Milano, the Salone Del Mobile Milano<\/b> is one of the biggest interior design events<\/b> running for over 60 years!<\/p>\n

Began in 1961, this Milan Furniture Fair<\/b> is a platform with over 2,000 exhibitors participating and showcasing solutions for contemporary living that integrate design and technology.<\/p>\n

Salone del Mobile attracts thousands of professional visitors each year with just under 70% of them coming from other countries making it the unmissable sector-wide appointment. There are also accompanying activities, which are typically produced by top worldwide artists and designers, because the Salone is not only about commerce but also about culture.<\/p>\n

To celebrate Tom Dixon\u2019s 20th anniversary, the British design brand will host \u2018TWENTY\u2019, an unprecedented exhibition in Milan to coincide with Salone.
\nFrom the 7th \u2013 12th June, new and iconic collections will be shown for the first time in not just one but two locations: Palazzo Serbelloni and The Manzoni, the brand\u2019s hub in Milan.<\/p>\n

While Palazzo Serbelloni will host the TWENTY exhibitions, The Manzoni (the brand\u2019s hub in Milan since 2019) will be used as a \u2018business center\u2019 by the Tom Dixon International Sales Teams. The whole range of Tom Dixon\u2019s best-sellers will be on display for new and existing customers to see.<\/p>\n

TWENTY AT PALAZZO SERBELLONI<\/p>\n

TWENTY, an exhibition celebrating 20 years of design and innovation will be hosted at Palazzo Serbelloni, a neoclassical palace where Sotheby\u2019s \u2013 the world\u2019s largest marketplace for art and luxury \u2013 has its Milan galleries and offices. The event will focus on innovation and materiality with 20 unseen creations on display.<\/p>\n

Visitors will be invited to explore a thoughtfully curated selection of designs: some inspired by Tom Dixon\u2019s most recognized collections such as MIRROR BALL, MELT, and FAT, some upgraded, and some in embryonic experiment-mode, providing a reflective yet future-thinking overview of Tom\u2019s prolific portfolio and journey to becoming one of Britain\u2019s most celebrated designers.<\/p>\n

MOLTENI<\/h5>\n

The Aldo Rossi Exhibition Design 1960-1997 at the Museo Del Novecento included the Molteni Group as a major sponsor will happen between 29 April \u2013 02 October 2022. 350 artifacts, including furnishings, sketches, paintings, and models, are on display in an unusual exhibition that explores and reconstructs one of the twentieth century\u2019s masters of architecture\u2019s extremely imaginative world of design.<\/p>\n

The Molteni&C|UniFor pieces on show are from the permanent collection of the Molteni Museum.<\/p>\n

ROGUILTLESSPLASTIC 2022<\/h5>\n

RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC, an international project developed and directed by Rossana Orlandi and Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni, aims to involve the Designer and Creative Communities in investigating the unlimited possibilities of transformation for Plastic Waste and other types of Waste.<\/p>\n

The Ro Plastic Prize is RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC\u2019s international award, and it aims to engage a wider audience by challenging global communities of designers, innovators, entrepreneurs, startuppers, changemakers, creators, scientists, researchers, developers, and communication experts who are passionate about making an extraordinary impact by proposing re-Waste-related projects.<\/p>\n

If you want to put yourself to the test, use your skills to participate in this challenge by completing practical projects with added value for contributing to an effective solution for our environmental impact, as well as changing the way we approach and manage the re-Waste subject.<\/p>\n
