Maison & Objet and the follow-up events all over the city are a good way to spot new trends and novelties in interiors. Paris Déco Off and its complementary Paris Déco Home bring us new Textile Trends for 2020.
PARIS DÉCO OFF
From the days 16 to 20 of January 2020, Paris Déco Off filled the streets of the city of lights to honor design on the highest level. This design event has one goal: to receive everyone in a showroom, with a spirit of conviviality, and one principle: a free event that gathers professionals and the general public that admires the modern design.
Paris Déco Off presented an endless array of interior design showrooms, pop-ups, and exhibitions that opened their doors in central Paris, to show their newest collections of textiles, wallpaper, lighting, and furniture.
PARIS DÉCO HOME
Presented for the first time, Paris Déco Home 2020, this event acts in parallel to complement the offer of textiles, wall coverings, wallpaper and trimmings that together make Paris Déco Off the unique, renowned event it is today.
This event was opened to every professional in the design sector and the general public, displaying the latest trends in furniture, lighting, tapes, house tongue and decoration accessories, textiles, coatings murals, murals, and passementerie.
This is the first of a series of exclusive moodboards showing the latest trends presented at Maison & Objet 2020 that TRENDBOOK will create.

TEXTILE TRENDS 2020
.RICH, PLUSH TEXTILES AND COLORS
Curvy lines, tactile surfaces and deep tones of blue and red combine to create a deliciously warm and seductive interior, with contrasting textures and a touch of glamour. Rich, plush velvets in solid colors tend to be most popular.

.PLAYFUL AND ENERGETIC
Textiles get a maximalist style with a mash-up of colors, patterns and gradients. Fluid shapes and block prints bring a strong attitude to interiors. Fake fur, fringe and the playful layering of decorative patterns create a theatrical influence.
We see a celebration of different cultures and times in textiles, from tribal to geometric and abstract.
